I am SO excited!  Beautiful weather here in Southwest Florida, for the entire weekend - which is going to make for an awesome turnout at Field Day tomorrow.  I have almost everything just the way I want it for tomorrow's booth and actually now have time to do some extras!  (Like paint my nails!)  Blair's asleep and until I pick the kids up at 3, and its smooth sailing for the next couple hours.  *crossing fingers* Wish me luck!

Hello New Year!

Woo hoo!  One of my "resolutions" this year was to help bring some money into the house.  Short of setting up on a street corner here in the metropolis of North Port, I figured we'd best be served if I put my creative talents to work.  The old "legal secretary" fallback is always available, especially since I have a transcription machine, but why be all prim and proper when I can be crafty!  SOOOOOOOOOOO, imagine my excitement when I "accidently" came across a website that allows individuals to sell handcrafted items at little to no cost!  I get my own url with them and it seems as though it will be a fairly easy process to get up and running.  I'm so pumped!  So, here's my question to you: 

1)  Does anyone know how to create a banner?  I am somewhat computer literate, but am self-taught, and that seems to be one area I can't quite get a grasp on.

2)Can you hardly wait to see my new site?!  I will link it to the blog (of course) as soon as I am up and running.  I have a totally cute shop name, very "neneish" I might add.  And, if any of you have a creation of mine that you particularly like or that you have seen and think it will sell well to the general public, please let me hear from you!

I'm TOTALLY gonna get Mom's/Nana's money's worth out of this new printer/copier/scanner she gave me for Christmas!  Here I go . . . .

Paper Roses

 

Some of you may have seen that I listed these beautiful paper roses on Ebay last week.  They didn't sell, so I'm giving it another shot, only this time am donating 10% of the total sale (or a minimum of $10.00) per dozen to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  Please read the Ebay listing for complete details.  The listing will tell you everything you need to know and you can find a link to this auction on this page to the bottom right.  I will also make these on special order outside of Ebay and any order I recieve by 12:00am Sunday morning will also have the same donation made to the Foundation, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness week . . . . and Momma!  I would LOVE referrals!  If you have a coworker, family member or friend that you think would enjoy these or would like to order a dozen from me, please send them my way!  You will be rewarded. It will take me two weeks to finish creating the custom orders and any theme or colors desired are available.  I have more pictures for anyone who is interested in seeing them and will be working on my next dozen this week in either a fall theme or baby pink theme just to show the versatility of these as gifts.
